In actuality, every single such issue are predominantly liable for the present situation, where a great deal is as yet fixed in the domain (of manageable turn of events) (1)Sustainable DevelopmentEven however the idea of economical advancement is undoubtedly a respectable one, yet, much advancement has not been shown, till date. For example, the Earth Summit (UN Conference on Environment and Development) appeared in the year 1992. Aside from the European Union, an aggregate of 192 nations were a piece of that show. Coming Up with a Powerful Statement of Purpose (Sample Inside)
Coming Up with a Powerful Statement of Purpose (Sample Inside) A powerful statement of purpose is a gateway to the first-rate higher education. As such, it shouldnââ¬â¢t be treated as just another monotonous essay about a student. It must stand out. Those applying to prestigious Ph.D. and Masterââ¬â¢s degree programs have to precisely indicate their goals and what they hope to accomplish within the professional field. The applicants are advised to avoid vague statements and instead opt for precision. A focused statement of purpose will demonstrate to the admissions committee that the enrollee has a genuine interest in and the understanding of the program, which makes them a good fit. If you are not sure how to write a strong statement of purpose, consider the following sample prepared by our expert writers. Statement of Purpose Example ââ¬Å"Emotion may flow almost instantly from appraisalâ⬠cautions the author of Meaning Ascription in the Elicitation of Emotional Response (1995). It is one of many articles I reviewed the last year for a bachelorââ¬â¢s thesis entitled ââ¬Å"The Complementarity of Meaning Ascription and the Semantic Shaping of Emotions in Brand Design.â⬠As suggested by the title, the project delves into a provocative yet scarcely explored field of theoretical research in which semantic function of meaning ascriptions is treated as the antecedent variable rather than the mediator of outcome effects in the evocation of emotional response. In brief, my research deals with the appraisal-affect link within the context of brand design. By closely studying semantic elements of meaning ascription, I arrived at effective evoking stimuli and explored their functional characteristics within the following dimensions: imminence, timing, and duration. I offered a summary of my bachelorââ¬â¢s thesis in lieu of a formal introduction of my past research experiences. This substantial venture into scholarship has reaffirmed my passion for brand development as well as imbued me with the confidence necessary to contest conventional opinions regarding brand positioning strategies. Continuing along the above-mentioned avenues of inquiry, I would like to use the thesis as the foundation for a future dissertation. Despite the fact that I remain cautious about committing myself steadfastly to a narrowly-defined line of research, I am, nonetheless, eager to modify and expand my original conclusions in the future. On a more basic level, the previous research experience has strengthened my understanding of the practical application of cognitive theories of emotion in corporate branding. Now, I know how to create and reinforce positive semantic linkages between evaluative appraisals of a brand and its perception by customers, thereby evoking a holistic emotional experience. There are many examples of how the semantic connection can be used within the modern structure of brand positioning; however, the most obvious one is the exploration of linguistic imagery rooted in the mother-infant bonding. Thus, the emotional attachment within the branding context is manifested in the desire to actively avoid separation with a brand in question. Master in Branding and Brand Strategy program offered by Seeway looms large in my mind due to the exceptional faculty of the institution and its emphasis on the interdisciplinary approach to branding studies. In my search for a suitable masterââ¬â¢s program, I was thrilled to discover that Professor Jonathan Gabay teaches at the university. The Professorââ¬â¢s book Brand Psychology: Consumer Perceptions, Corporate Reputations shaped my perception of the field during my undergraduate education, which is why I believe that his cutting-edge research would make my experience at Seeway a challenging and enjoyable one. I also believe that Seeway offers an ideal climate for my further exploration of the field of corporate branding. In particular, I plan to pursue practical methodology for bringing a unique personality to a brand as a means of securing a profitable and advantageous position in the market. After the successful completion of the masterââ¬â¢s degree, it is my goal to facilitate brands, both large and small, in promoting themselves in the fast-paced business environment.

The Theory Of Evolutionary Theory - 1822 Words
In todayââ¬â¢s society, Alabama, Minnesota, Missouri, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Texas require that students be aware of a disclaimer and are encouraged to think critically concerning the aspects of evolutionary theory. Additionally, in Mississippi and Louisiana, educators and students are permitted to discuss critical evidence of the evolutionary theory (Reuters). Since the publication of On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, the Supreme Court of the United States has had numerous, varying, and even contradictory, rulings of the presence of evolution in public schools; however, the teaching of evolutionary theory should be permissible in school due to the multiple intellectual concepts that are intertwined in the theory. Firstly, the evolutionary theory is a fundamental, unifying theory that underlies all life sciences, resulting in the expansion of knowledge that contributes to the understanding of present-day microbiological changes (Kahn). For example, in the nineteenth century, the most prevalent explanation of the origin of microbial organisms was the theory of spontaneous generation. The theory of spontaneous generation proposed that living organisms arose from nonliving matter (Sadava, et al. 67). This belief led to the unpreparedness of scientists and physicians in the understanding of illnesses, which consequently led to the deaths of immeasurable numbers of individuals before the experiments of Louis Pasteur disproved the theory (Kahn).Show MoreRelatedDispositional, Evolutionary And Evolutionary Theory1283 Words à |à 6 PagesDispositional, and Evolutionary Theory Nicholas DeRico PSY/405 August 24, 2015 Dispositional, Biological and Evolutionary Theory Abstract There are many theories that attempt to clarify the structures that influence personality, for example dispositional, and Evolutionary theory. Substance Abuse Is An Addiction - 1626 Words
Introduction Substance abuse is an addiction and it is the addition, which is referred to a chronic disease. It is this chronic disease that is a significant and growing issue, especially among family units where either one or two parents and/or parental guardians suffer from. Despite the various and complex reasons that cause the parents or parental guardians to abuse substances, it is their children who suffer thus, significantly affecting the parent/parental guardian and child bonding relationship. It is this bonding relationship when compromised that negatively affects the childââ¬â¢s overall socio-emotional and psychological well-being, as well as times when there are physical risk factors such as abuse, neglect, or mistreatment (Johnson, 2015). According to a study by Connors-Burrow et al. (2009), there were approximately 5.1% number of children living with parents of substance dependence and the remaining percentage living with parents of substance misuse (Conners-Burrow et al., 2013). It is this percentage of children whose normal development has been interrupted by the substance abuse and with the appropriate and supportive interventions, these children can obtain a feeling of acceptance and attachment security to their parents/parental guardians. The Containment Of The Manhattan Project - 1298 Words
INTRODUCTION: It all began in 1939 when Franklin D. Roosevelt found out that the Nazis were funding money and were attempting to build some sort of nuclear weapons. Roosevelt knew if the Germans had gotten their hands on an Atomic Weapon, the war would be over quick. Who knows what couldââ¬â¢ve happened next? As a result Roosevelt acted fastly but strategically by funding the U.Sââ¬â¢s own experiment to build atomic weapons. The secret codename for this project was named the ââ¬Å"Manhattan Project.â⬠The Manhattan Project was run by the United States with the help of their allies, Canada, and the United Kingdom. The Manhattan Project was so large it employed over 130,000 people and costed roughly a little over $2 Billion. In todayââ¬â¢s USD $2 Billion would be the equivalent of almost $26 Billion. Almost 90% of the overall money used on this project was used just towards building factories and the production of the Fission materials. This left only about 10% of the money which was used directly towards development and production of these atomic weapons. The Creation of the Atomic Bomb has led to Mass Destruction. 1st Body Paragraph: Subtopic: 1 The first true testing of the Atomic Bomb began on August 6, 1945 in Hiroshima, Japan. It has been further stated that the companys EBIT increased of $ 1672 to $ 1783 in the year 2014 to 2015. 2: Lease 1) As per the AASB guideline for operating leases under the Para 81 of the Recognition and measurement, an operating lease is termed as the lease anything other than the financial risk (Fatima 2016). Moreover, the unearned income from finance is the gross investment contributed in the asset and the net investment of the overall lease amount. Operating lease is termed as the financial agreement, which considers the values of the assets, which is lesser than the actual life of the useful equipment (Gross, Huston and Huston 2014). The consultant preferred operating lease to financial lease for the purpose of reduction in the administration expenses. Operating leases transfers only the right to use the property to the lessee. Hence, for improving the overall cash flow of the company it is necessary to consider the operating risk method. The operating cash is expected to be performing in better way as there is no operating lease expense involved. In case of the operating lease will furthe r provide the right to use the asset without ownership, hence the three will not be any transfer of ownership and the original owner of the item will remain the same (Aasb.gov.au. 2016). 2) The disadvantages related to entering into financial lease agreements under the operating standards stated in the year 2015 are: i) During the term of the lease, there is a possibility of the getting the assets damaged which makes the assets unfit for the use. ii) It is often observed that in several situations due to the excessive wear and tear of the assets, only a handful amount of revenue may be generated from the sale of the asset (Faisal and Elahi 2016). iii) In case of the financial leases the depreciation charged on the leased asset will not be available on the lessee of the designated company. It should be noted that financial lease will increase the debt (Vernimmen et al. 2014). Part B As per the new regulations of IFRS 16, the leases, which are considered, are either operating leases or financial leases. The leases and services of Oliver Ltd. will be considered under a single contract, the amounts relating to the services are not required to be addressed in the balance sheet. The increase in the lease assets and the finance, liabilities needs to be increased. The IAS 17 focused on the identification of the lease in an economic way only during purchasing of the asset. As per the classification to be done under the newer standards the leases are to be treated in a same way as per as per IAS17, but there will be a significant change in terms of the material off balance sheet under the leases. The key change will be observed in the financial metrics in form of the assets and liabilities (Ifrs.org. 2016). As per the annual report analysis of a Wesfarmers Limited, the operating leases and the different types of initial direct costs are considered under the straight-line basis over the term of lease. This method is as per the previous lessee accounting method as followed under IAS 17 (Csbp.com.au. 2016). This clearly states that Wesfarmers Limited shows the off-balance-sheet leases in the income statement of the company. It has been further stated that the operating lease payments are recognized as an expense in the income statement and the incentives related to these leases are considered as liability when received and realized (Pwc.se. 2016). As per the annual report, analysis of Fairfax media does not follow the straight-line method of charging lease, as the straight-line operating lease expense has been replaced by depreciation charge. It can be clearly observed that the company considers consideration of the depreciation amount while computing both operational and financial lease (Fairfax.ca. 2016). The newer requirement of the IFRS 16 for the lease requirements eliminate most of the of balance sheet accounting required for the lesees and moreover redefines the various types of metrics related to financial paradigm such as EBITDA and gearing ratio. Although the applied measures will account for better compatibility of the financial statements but at the same time it may affect the different types of covenants, borrowing cost, perception of stakeholders and the credit ratings. Moreover as per the newer standard, which is due to come into effect from 1st January 2019 may bring several shift in the lessor model of business offering and may account for the various behavioral lessees changes. It may also account for acceleration of market growth and put an augmented focus towards services rather than only physical assets (Accaglobal 2016). As per the annual report analysis of both Fairfax media and Wesfarmers Ltd the disclosure of the operating leases does not separately indicate the contract details due to the fact the present standard does not consider the dissimilarity in supply arrangement or services. If both the companies adhere to the new leasing policy then the leases will be recognized in the balance sheet. Moreover both the lessors and the lessees and maintain declaring separate lease components. In this way, the lessee will be able to take advantage of the use of asset either independently or in a combined fashion other resources, which are easily available to the lessee (Csbp.com.au. 2016). 3: Consolidations As per the rulings of IFRS 10 related to the consolidated financial statements, the requirements of the presentation and preparation of the statement required the entities to consolidate entities, which it monitors. As per the International accounting standards Board (IASB), the prime users considered for the preparation of consolidated financial statements are the capital markets. The non-controlling interest is considered as the action of equity ownership especially in a subsidiary, which has not been attributed to the parent company particularly, which has a controlling interest and is responsible for consolidation of financial result of the subsidiary. In case the non-controlling interest was classified as debt rather than in the equity section then it would mean that the company had less than 80% of the holdings or the other company is not directly under parent company. The rationale for which the standard setters have selected the equity classification as per AASB 10 due to the application of paragraphs B94 and B95 under non-controlling interest given in the guideline of AASB 10. As the company, Brookwater Ltd. is responsible for holding 80% share in the Golf Ltd. as per the rulings of the guideline in case a subsidiary owns outstanding community preference share under equity, which are further held as non-controlling interest. In such a case the entity should be computed based on the share of profit or loss after the adjustment of dividend amount, even if the dividend is not declared. Moreover as the entities are susceptible to changes as per the rulings of AASB 10 the amount held under the non-controlling interest should be adjusted with the carrying amount of the various types of non-controlling and controlling interest reflect relevant changes in the interest of the subsidiary (Aasb.gov.au. 2016) Reference List Aasb.gov.au. Erics perfect society Essay Example For Students
Erics perfect society Essay ERICS VERY GOOD CITIZENSHIP ESSAYI have learned that I have the freedom to be who I am. I know that everyone else has freedoms and rights. I have the right to make decisions along with the rest of the world. We all have opinions that matter. We all can benefit society and ourselves. Everything else I have learned can help benefit myself. I personally have benefited from this course by learning that I can make a difference to every endeavour and challenge I pursue for the rest of my life. Civics is really a course on everyday life that I believe to be very important to society and myself. I have learned how to use my legal privileges with regard to rights during my everyday life. It gives me a sense of freedom and even though I am a teenager I know I have an opinion and an important position in society. There were times when I went places when there where adults and really was quiet because I didnt think what I had to say was important. I feel comfortable meeting with people who may be more knowledgeable and more experienced than I am. I have much more self-confidence than before I took this course because I know my rights. I am much more comfortable even with teachers thanks to you Mr. Harris. I know that when I am old enough and able to vote that my vote will be important. I know that my vote will mean something. I know that my vote will count. I can get involved in politics and assist with the important issues in life. I have confidence that I can make a difference and help others with their issues and concerns. I listen to others opinions with more interest. I also give my opinion with much more confidence and enthusiasm. For example, when my family is making a decision on something I am much more confidant putting my two cents in the conversation. I know that no matter how old or young we are we all have opinions that count. Freedom is a wonderful thing. We really are interesting individuals and all should be heard. When we where young and in public school we felt intimidated and sometimes suppressed when forming our opinions. I wish they taught civics and the rights of freedoms in public school. It really is important to know you have an opinion. We are very fortunate to have this course in high school. I think teenagers are very lucky in this decade. I dont think my parents were as fortunate as we were. The course has taught me how to make decisions and choices to help others and myself. I am much more reluctant to ask others for assistance with decisions. Making decisions is much easier. I can feel confident that whatever I decide will be okay because it is my choice. I know we all have to grow up some day but this course teaches us everyday skills for dealing with everyday life. Almost everyday something happens and we have to make a choice one way or the other. This course makes us stronger and more confident. Canada is a multicultural society and the civics course helps unit us better. We learned that no matter what culture everyone has rights. We are very lucky to have so many cultures because we can all learn from each other. With so many different cultures we are exposed to so many different ways of life. We really can help each other. Some people are still very bigoted and critical but the younger generation with their skills can change all of that. We can help everyone teach that everyone no matter what his or her background is that their word is important. We can unite and all band together. We can all help each other to make Canada a better place to live. .uc86cb31e8c6810dbb673bbb1341aa17c , .uc86cb31e8c6810dbb673bbb1341aa17c .postImageUrl , .uc86cb31e8c6810dbb673bbb1341aa17c .centered-text-area { min-height: 80px; position: relative; } .uc86cb31e8c6810dbb673bbb1341aa17c , .uc86cb31e8c6810dbb673bbb1341aa17c:hover , .uc86cb31e8c6810dbb673bbb1341aa17c:visited , .uc86cb31e8c6810dbb673bbb1341aa17c:active { border:0!important; } .uc86cb31e8c6810dbb673bbb1341aa17c .clearfix:after { content: ""; display: table; clear: both; } .uc86cb31e8c6810dbb673bbb1341aa17c { display: block; transition: background-color 250ms; webkit-transition: background-color 250ms; width: 100%; opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #95A5A6; } .uc86cb31e8c6810dbb673bbb1341aa17c:active , .uc86cb31e8c6810dbb673bbb1341aa17c:hover { opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #2C3E50; } .uc86cb31e8c6810dbb673bbb1341aa17c .centered-text-area { width: 100%; position: relative ; } .uc86cb31e8c6810dbb673bbb1341aa17c .ctaText { border-bottom: 0 solid #fff; color: #2980B9; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; padding: 0; text-decoration: underline; } .uc86cb31e8c6810dbb673bbb1341aa17c .postTitle { color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 600; margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; } .uc86cb31e8c6810dbb673bbb1341aa17c .ctaButton { background-color: #7F8C8D!important; color: #2980B9; border: none; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: none; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 26px; moz-border-radius: 3px; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; text-shadow: none; width: 80px; min-height: 80px; background: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/plugins/intelly-related-posts/assets/images/simple-arrow.png)no-repeat; position: absolute; right: 0; top: 0; } .uc86cb31e8c6810dbb673bbb1341aa17c:hover .ctaButton { background-color: #34495E!important; } .uc86cb31e8c6810dbb673bbb1341aa17c .centered-text { display: table; height: 80px; padding-left : 18px; top: 0; } .uc86cb31e8c6810dbb673bbb1341aa17c .uc86cb31e8c6810dbb673bbb1341aa17c-content { display: table-cell; margin: 0; padding: 0; padding-right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-align: middle; width: 100%; } .uc86cb31e8c6810dbb673bbb1341aa17c:after { content: ""; display: block; clear: both; } READ: Macbeth Persuasive EssayMy everyday challenges and endeavours at this point in my life involve music. I am actively involved in a band. Our band has been very busy playing at many different places and in different styles. We have done the hard core rock and roll. We have also played acoustically. I am the youngest in the band but make lots of decisions regarding what is going to happen next. I welcome every opportunity to face every challenge. I am not easily intimidated and will pursue all of my dreams. I now have the ability to help not just myself with what I have learned but also the ability to help the rest of society. Civics is really a course on learning how to be individual and important. I feel very important. I know I can teach others because I am sure most people dont know their rights. I will help others learn them. I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to participate in this class and learn about our cultures and government.

Should Names of Rape Victims be disclosed in Public
Rape, a heinous crime committed against women involves forced intercourse which causes physical and psychological pain to the victim. The aftermath of the crime can continue to be a cause of distress for the victim as a result of police investigations. Rape has a stigma surrounding it and the attention which rape victims receive makes it hard for them to get back to their daily lives. The shame associated with rape attracts unwanted public and media attention, making victims susceptible to more psychological distress.Advertising We will write a custom essay sample on Should Names of Rape Victims be disclosed in Public specifically for you for only $16.05 $11/page Learn More There is an ongoing debate between the protection of rape victimsââ¬â¢ individualââ¬â¢s right to privacy and the right to freedom of press guaranteed by the first and fourteenth amendments (Denno 1993, p. 1115-1116). The issue of revealing a rape victimââ¬â¢s identity is a ma tter of controversy. Proponents argue that information about the rape victim should be disseminated in an honest and truthful manner while opponents assert that the identity of rape victims should not be revealed given the serious nature of the crime. However, research and studies indicate that rape victims could receive ââ¬Å"negative reactions from formal support providersâ⬠which could be ââ¬Å"particularly harmful for themâ⬠(Ahrens 2006, p. 264). The media does practice voluntary restraint when reporting rape crimes; however, there is no law governing the disclosure of rape victims. Some states such as South Carolina, Florida and Georgia have statutes which prohibit media companies from publicly announcing the names of alleged rape victims (Denno 1993, p. 1115). However, the lack of concrete laws preventing disclosure of rape victimsââ¬â¢ identities has sparked a conflict. Some journalists debate that disclosure of victims is an important obligation for maintaini ng the accuracy and credibility of news. Overholser (1989) asserts that since ââ¬Å"rape is an American shameâ⬠it is not appropriate to ââ¬Å"hideâ⬠or ââ¬Å"hush it upâ⬠(para 15). She further adds that it should be revealed in all honesty to the public since hiding information related to rape will only result in muting ââ¬Å"public outrageâ⬠(Overholser 1989, para 15). Overholserââ¬â¢s strong position in favour of revealing the names of rape victims stems from her belief that an act of non disclosure will only undermine the serious nature of the crime and promote shame for the victim. Moreover, underreporting is tantamount to silence and an indication of shame to the innocent victim. She asserts that in order to remove the stigma associated with rape it is important to treat is as any other crime and report the news in all honesty (Overholser 1989, para 5). She states that rape should be treated equally like other crimes such as abortion and murder so th at public awareness will increase and the rate of rape crimes will reduce. She urges women who have suffered from this ââ¬Å"awful crimeâ⬠to speak up, and ââ¬Å"identify themselvesâ⬠so that the stigma associated with rape can be eradicated (Overholser 1989, para 12).Advertising Looking for essay on law? Analysts who vouch for the non disclosure of rape victimsââ¬â¢ identities base their stance on the stigma and trauma associated with rape. There is an ongoing debate about the consequences of revealing a rape victimââ¬â¢s personal details. Research indicates that victims could receive negative reactions such as blami ng the victims for the crime (Ahrens, 2006). When victims of rape are subjected to blame, they feel doubly victimized (Campbell, 1998). Research also confirms that rape victimsââ¬â¢ apprehend public disclosure due to the fear of rejection by friends and family since ââ¬Å"the great majority of rapes are committed by an acquaintance or relative and, therefore, the consent of the victim is often presumedâ⬠(Denno 1993, p. 1125). Studies indicate that 71% victims had concerns about their identity being disclosed to their family, 69% worried that society would blame them for the crime while 68% expressed fears of invasion of privacy from outsiders upon disclosure of their names in public (Denno 1993, p. 1125). A National Womenââ¬â¢s Study affirms that majority of the women in the United States favour a legislation to ban the media from publicly disclosing personal information about rape victims (Denno 1993, p. 1130). Many rape cases are not reported to the police due to the stigma associated with the crime and the embarrassment it brings to the victim. Non disclosure of names could serve to be an added incentive to victims to report rape cases without the fear public exposure. Both proponents and opponents of the debate surrounding the disclosure of the victims in rape cases hold justifiable views. Naming a rape victim could cause problems like trauma and shame to the accused. Hence, in the best interest of the victim and the accused, I support the view that names of rape victims should not be revealed to the general public. Privacy of victims remains to be a primary cause for concern in rape crimes while journalists press for disclosure of victims based on the right to freedom of press. So far the media has not been held accountable for disclosure of rape victimsââ¬â¢ identities. However, considering the serious nature of the crime and the trauma associated with it, serious thought should be given to state legislation for protection of victimsâ⬠⢠privacy. A Self-Description Essay Sample For Writing Your Personal Statement
A Self-Description Essay Sample For Writing Your Personal StatementWhen you first go to college, or even when you are just preparing for your entrance exam, writing a brief description of yourself should be an important part of your preparations. Without a simple answer to this question, you won't know whether you will have the ability to succeed in a career that requires a high level of intellectual and emotional intelligence. In fact, if you think that having the right qualifications is all that is required for success, you are likely to be one of the many overqualified individuals who will be struggling to find a suitable career that will allow them to satisfy their lifelong aspirations. Unfortunately, there is no one 'just the right' job for everyone. This also means that when you write a self-description essay, it is important to be able to describe yourself in such a way that others will find it easier to understand why you should be the best suited candidate for the position. A s mentioned earlier, you need to put yourself in a positive light, and make your chances of being hired much higher if you are able to deliver a good description of yourself. In addition, you must also have a clear understanding of how that statement should sound. It would not hurt to use a self-description essay sample as a means of thinking about how you will accomplish this goal. You should get a feel for how you will want to write your own introduction and also about how you will describe yourself in order to find out how to structure your own introduction.Writing your own resume is another important factor in helping you prepare for your job search. Make sure that you identify the skills and abilities that you have and why you feel that they are important. You also need to make sure that you tell people about the qualities that you will bring to the workplace. When you are prepared with a short and sweet description of yourself, you will be able to easily see the area that you n eed to improve and what you should do in order to get there. When you are writing your own essay, it is important to make sure that you use an example of someone who can relate to your case. As a general rule, you should choose a skill that is relevant to the position that you are applying for. If you are not sure about the skill, then try to go online and find a relevant example that someone else has used. This step should go without saying, but it should be said again - try to write a solid introduction. If you lack the writing skills or you do not have the confidence to write an essay without errors, you may want to consider hiring an essay writer. There are companies that will not only provide writing services, but also will assist you in coming up with a topic that is interesting to your readers. While the end result may not be perfect, you will at least get a working document and you will be able to see the content and its effectiveness on other readers.Writing a self-descriptio n essay is something that everyone can use in order to ensure that they have a professional image and that they are prepared for their future. It is important to remember that self-assessment is not a luxury, but rather a necessity. If you lack the necessary skills and qualities for the position that you are applying for, you will be much better off consulting a professional than trying to figure everything out on your own.

Thanksgiving Thoughts About Expressing Gratitude
Thanksgiving Thoughts About Expressing Gratitude One of the most famous Aesops tales of gratitude is the Lion and Androcles. Androcles, a slave who was wandering in a forest, chanced upon an injured lion, which had a huge thorn stuck inside its paw. Androcles helped the lion by removing the thorn and gave the lion a new lease of life. Later, Androcles was captured, and thrown in a dungeon with a hungry lion. The lion rushed towards its victim, but it soon realized that Androcles was the same man who saved its life in the forest. The lion did not attack the slave. Instead, it licked his face like a pet dog and showered the slave with love. Thats a simple story of gratitude that we tell our kids to remind them about the importance of gratitude. Dietrich BonhoefferIn ordinary life we hardly realize that we receive a great deal more than we give, and that it is only with gratitude that life becomes rich.Gerald GoodIf you want to turn your life around, try thankfulness. It will change your life mightily. But how many of us truly remember to express gratitude? In the daily humdrum of life, you forget to thank the neighbor who keeps a watch on your kids when you need to be away at work. You forget to thank the teacher, who stays back after school to help you with your school projects. You fail to express gratitude to your parents, who have immensely contributed all through your life. And who remembers to thank the librarian, the banker, the plumber, or the garbage pickup truck driver? Gratitude should not be merely customary politeness. It should reflect a deep humility and love that we feel towards one another. Saying, thank you is just the beginning of expressing gratitude. To make gratitude go a long way, you should give back in any way possible. Just like the lion in the story. George CanningWhen our perils are past, shall our gratitude sleep?William C. SkeathThis is the finest measure of thanksgiving: a thankfulness that springs from love.W. T. PurkiserNot what we say about our blessings, but how we use them, is the true measure of our thanksgiving. Being thankful has many benefits. A thankful heart has no place for arrogance, resentment, jealousy, or anger. You will often find that people who express genuine gratitude have a pleasant and amiable personality. When you express gratitude, you make friends. When gratitude is accompanied by a generous word of praise or two, relationships thrive. Also, a grateful person can hope to gain more favors in the future from his generous friends. Basil CarpenterThank God every day when you get up that you have something to do that day which must be done whether you like it or not. Being forced to work and forced to do your best will breed in you temperance and self-control, diligence and strength of will, cheerfulness and content, and a hundred virtues which the idle will never know.Noel SmithGratitude is not a spiritual or moral dessert which we may take or push away according to the whims of the moment, and in either case without material consequences. Gratitude is the very bread and meat of spiritual and moral health, individually and collectively. What was the seed of disintegration that corrupted the heart of the ancient world beyond the point of divine remedy...? What was it but ingratitude? The story of gratitude in Aesops fable about the lion and the slave is a moral lesson where kindness and generosity triumphs. Even today, when the world is plagued by natural calamities people rise above these challenges with kindness. Teach your kids the importance of gratitude with these Thanksgiving thoughts. Sow the seed of gratitude in their heart early in life, so that they can grow up to be humble and appreciative human beings. Charles Haddon SpurgeonYou say, If I had a little more, I should be very satisfied. You make a mistake. If you are not content with what you have, you would not be satisfied if it were doubled.Henry ClayCourtesies of a small and trivial character are the ones which strike deepest in the grateful and appreciating heart.

Vaginal Delivery of Breech Dissertation Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 7000 words
Vaginal Delivery of Breech - Dissertation Example The discussion will be based on the authorââ¬â¢s perspective, available evidence and current practice. It shall discuss womenââ¬â¢s options during births, especially where infants are in the breech position. This dissertation will further evaluate if the womenââ¬â¢s choices with regards to delivery of the breech are significantly impacted by the deskilling of health professionals or by the actual risks of the procedure itself. Current practice, as supported by the NICE and RCOG Guidelines (2001) discourages women from having vaginal deliveries when their babies are presenting in a breech position. Many midwives have only ever experienced vaginal breech deliveries in a simulated environment. Since practice is now dominated by the opinion that the safest option for these babies is a caesarean section and the opportunities to gain experience in safe vaginal breech delivery are limited, the dominance of caesarean section is reinforced. This paper aims to highlight the evidence t hat underpins the current practice as well as investigate the emerging evidence that is the basis for certain midwives now considering breech vaginal birth to be a safe option. Historically vaginal deliveries were the chosen method for the delivery of babies with a cephalic or breech presentation. ... he current indications for caesarean births in developed countries include breech babies along with foetal distress, malposition, malpresentations, placenta previa, and other related complications (Fischer, 2012). Some of these complicated births have been delivered vaginally even though the risk for these births has been considered significant. At present, the training for Obstetricians has mostly related to the delivery of breech babies via caesarean Section. This development has been re-evaluated by midwives because some midwives believe that obstetricians must equally train in normal deliveries of breech babies, especially as womenââ¬â¢s options have been limited by the risks involved in the birth as well as the decreased skill of midwives (Jadoon, 2008). Breech presentation deliveries are deliveries where the foetus is at a longitudinal position, with either the buttocks or the feet presenting at the cervical area during delivery. This presentation is seen at about 3-4% of al l term deliveries (Fischer, 2012). This type of presentation may be attributed to prematurity, uterine malformations, placenta praevia, multiple births, and sometimes foetal abnormalities (Fischer, 2012). Breech presentation is classified into: frank, complete, and footling. Frank breech is observed with hips flexed, knees extended; complete is seen with hips flexed and knees flexed; and footling or incomplete with one of both hips extended and foot presenting (Fischer, 2012). The issue of whether or not vaginal breech deliveries should be considered over Caesarean section is now also based on the skill of midwives. There are major concerns surrounding vaginal delivery of breech presentation and generally limited data on safe vaginal deliveries of a breech. There is also a lack of honesty on the
